About EEN Brazil
The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) was created in 2008 by the European Commission and its main objective is to promote the growth of small and medium-sized companies. The services offered through EEN are free and focus on supporting the innovation and internationalization of companies and technology transfer.
Currently, the network has more than 600 organizations in more than 70 countries focused on supporting innovation, internationalization and transfer of business and technology by companies through an online platform that brings together information about companies and the market in each country. This data is crucial for developing business expansion strategies and searching for commercial partners.
EEN Brasil is the Brazilian nucleus of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN). Managed by the consortium formed by the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (IBICT) with the support of the European Network of Research and Innovation Centers and Hubs in Latin America and the Caribbean (ENRICH at LAC) and the Federation of Associations of Brazilian Associations of Information Technology (ASSESPRO), and with the participation of public and private entities that are part of the consortium Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (apexBrasil), Brazilian Association of Articles for Home, Decoration, Gifts and Housewares (ABCasa), Brazilian Association of Development Innovation in Technological Platforms (BRAFIP), Chapecó Commercial and Industrial Association (ACIC), Brazilian Industrial Research and Innovation Company (EMBRAPII), Federation of Business Associations of Santa Catarina (FACISC), Instituto Jovem Exportador (IJEx), Mobilization by Caxias do Sul (MobiCaxias) and Brazilian Organization of Women Entrepreneurs (OBME).
The main objectives of EEN Brazil are:
- Increase the international visibility of Brazilian companies and institutions;
- Facilitate the promotion of business, technological and research partnerships;
- Attract investments to Brazil;
- Find strategic partners to carry out International Business Promotion actions.
ABCasa is an effective member of the EEN Brasil Consortium.
